Blackened Tilapia Recipe

This Blackened Tilapia Recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. He likes anything spicy so of course, he would love this one. It’s spicy and has a nice crispy flavourful coating. I love this recipe too but I like the fact that it’s very low-calorie more than anything. One piece is only 167 calories. Keep it low-calorie, by serving it with steamed veggies and rice, cauliflower rice, or tuck it into a small flour tortilla with shredded cabbage and salsa for yummy fish tacos! This seasoning mixture is also delicious for coating prawns

This seasoning mixture great for other things too. It’s a delicious coating prawns and chicken. For the prawns, add the prawns and the seasoning to a bowl and toss to combine and then fry over medium heat with a little oil. With the chicken, use a boneless, skinless breast. Pound the breast between plastic wrap until desired thickness, using a meat mallet and then coat both sides with the seasoning mixture. Fry in a heavy cast iron skillet with a little oil over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes per side.
