Turkey and Green Bean Stir Fry

I was itching for a simple dish to use up some ground turkey I had. So, I decided that I felt like a stir fry. Decidedly, I wanted to have lots of green beans, sugar snap peas, onion, and carrots. And I have to say, this recipe really hit the spot for me. I love that doesn’t take long to prep, aside from cutting up the veggies. I definitely think that this one is the perfect recipe for those weeks when your schedule is overloaded on meal prep day so you don’t have the usual amount of time set aside for cooking. Turkey and Green Bean Stir Fry
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey with half of each of the next 4 ingredients. Set aside while you prep your veggies.
  2. In a large pan or wok over medium high heat add the rest of the sesame oil and stirfry the turkey mixture until cooked through. With a slotted spoon scoop the cooked turkey into a large dish.
  3. Turn the heat down to medium and add the carrots, and green beans and stir fry until the veggies colours look bright about 3 minutes.
  4. Add the rest of the veggies and remaining ingredients and stir fry for 1 minutes. Put a lid on the pan to steam for 2 more minutes. Add the turkey back and stir to combine.
  5. Remove the stirfry from the heat and portion into 12 containers, serve with rice.
